I know everyone would assume that life's greatest mystery is "What is the meaning of life?", but sometimes I beg to differ...

All of my fellow females can agree that what goes through a guy's mind may be more befuddling.

You talk to them and they seem to lose interest, even guy friends. You ignore them, and suddenly they care. Others are just jackasses in general; they have no respect for anyone, especially girls/women.

Now, granted, there are some guys worth hanging out with, possibly dating and even moving forward in a future together, but those guys are more rare than bald eagles.

Gentlemen, if the above statement is false, please proceed to prove it!! Do you treat your girlfriends, wives, female friends etc. with the respect of Mr. Darcy or Michael Kelso? Do you open the door (even on occasion) for a woman? Do you let her know that she's beautiful without makeup on?

Yeah, that's what I thought. Now, you boys want to know what fascinates us women with Edward Cullen, Mr. Darcy, Romeo Montague, Jack Dawson, Noah Calhoun, etc. etc. etc.

Well, they:
-are respectful to women
-don't play mind games with women (well, except Mr. Darcy, initially)
-risk their lives for the people they love
-don't mooch off of their loved ones (but I must say not all girls expect guys to pay for them for everything!)

Ladies, let me know if it's just me.
Guys, let me know if you have a better argument!

I would ask "Am I going to die alone?"

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?

I'm not sure. I would love to say I'll be married with at least 1-2 kids, but it doesn't seem very possible given my current romantic life. It's sad, because I have everything picked out for my wedding but the groom...wow, that's pathetic, right?

Over the past 10 years if you could identify one defining moment what would that be?

Probably, "Love Stinks", actually...My romantic life is very much lacking right now, and has always.

How do you think personal relationships would change if people could read minds?

It would save both guys and us girls some time on trying to figure out the opposite sex. Instead of, "Gee, I like him, but does he like me?", it would be "Glad I didn't waste my time. His was thinking about a different girl, so I'm moving on!"

What is your greatest fear?

To be alone...

If you could choose to control your dreams, would you? If so, what would you dream about?

I would only change the dreams that are bad, nightmares. The better dreams I wish could come true, though I know that's what makes them dreams...

Cinderella said it best, "A dream is a wish your heart makes", and I truly believe that about the good dreams.

So it's been a while since I've written on this, but today has been very crazy, let alone the past few weeks.

Tonight, I just found out that the class I got a D in this past semester (which is passing) does NOT count for my technical elective hours towards graduation. Essentially, I did not technically graduate.

To top it off, I asked my advisor prior to finals about whether a D in a tech elective counts, and he reassured me that yes, it would count....yeah, no it didn't...awesome...

Now, this class isn't offered at all during this summer or upcoming fall...even better news...
If you could hang out with any fictional character for a whole day, who would you choose, and why?

Duh, Edward Cullen...He is the best boyfriend, and that's without being a vampire with superpowers...He speaks with such grace and poise; he treats Bella amazingly, especially by saving her life repeatedly; he is super fast, super smart, and EVERYTHING a girl could ever want in a guy, even a human guy....

Was there something you were afraid of as a child that just seems silly to you now?

I was horribly afraid of my Nonna (grandma) and Nonno (grandpa)'s basement, because it made all sorts of weird noises like the one from Home Alone. But, its funny now...I guess...
